Privacy Policy — Tailfire SIREV Importer

Who this is for

The Tailfire SIREV Importer is an internal productivity tool for Phoenix Voyages travel advisors. It requires a Tailfire (Phoenix Voyages) advisor account.

What the extension accesses

  • Your own Tailfire sign-in (authentication cookie). On the Tailfire domains (tailfire.phoenixvoyages.ca, and the associated Supabase authentication host), the extension reads and refreshes your own existing Tailfire session so it can act as you when saving into your own trips. Where enterprise browser policy disables the standard cookies API, the extension reads the same session value via a single document.cookie read in your already-open Tailfire tab. It never reads cookies for any other website.
  • The SoftVoyage SIREV page content you are viewing. On SoftVoyage SIREV hosts (vcm.sax.softvoyage.com, tripbook.softvoyage.com), the extension reads the package search/detail page you are actively viewing to extract package options you choose to import.
  • Local browser storage. The extension stores its own working state (a session reference, your last import context, UI preferences) locally in your browser.

What it does with it

  • Sends the package options you select to Tailfire’s own API (api.tailfire.ca) to create proposal itinerary options in your own Tailfire trip.
  • Uses your Tailfire session only to authenticate those requests as you.

What it does NOT do

  • No selling or sharing of your data with third parties.
  • No advertising — your data is never used for personalized, retargeted, or interest-based ads.
  • No collection of browsing history, keystrokes, location, financial/health data, or communications.
  • No access to any sites other than the SoftVoyage SIREV hosts and your Tailfire workspace listed above.

Data transmission & security

All communication is over HTTPS with Tailfire’s own systems (and the SoftVoyage SIREV hosts you are already using). Your authentication session is sent only to Tailfire’s API to save your imports — never to any third party.

Data retention

The extension keeps only a local session reference and working state in your browser. It is cleared when you sign out of Tailfire or uninstall the extension. Imported trip data lives in your Tailfire account and is governed by Tailfire’s / Phoenix Voyages’ main privacy practices.
